Packing tips

Make a packing list several days in advance of your departure to weed out extra items before the last minute frenzy. Fold clothes backwards to minimize wrinkles on the front of the garment. Pack the heaviest items, such as shoes on the bottom of the luggage. Take a carry-on with medicines, eyeglasses, itineraries and everything your child might need for the next 24 hours (diapers, snacks, a change of clothes) in case you luggage gets delayed or lost. Maximize space by rolling your belts into a coil and stuffing socks into your shoes.
